Ambassador Committee

The Homewood Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee is a dynamic group of varied members whose mission is to recruit and retain members while creating a positive presence in the community. All Chamber Members in good standing wishing to promote the Homewood Chamber and build their own business may join this committee.

Goals of the Ambassadors include, but are not limited to:

ê  Promoting the Chamber in all possible facets

ê  Increasing membership

ê  Retaining membership

ê  Building stronger relationships with existing members

ê  Ensuring all members feel welcomed at Chamber events

Benefits of being an active member of the Ambassador Program:

êIncreased name and face recognition

êIncreased networking opportunities

êOpportunity to connect one-on-one with new and existing Chamber members

êPotential media coverage from attendance at Chamber events

êRaised awareness and unique insights to local business community

êOpportunity to meet local business and community leaders 

êChance to help the community and show community pride 

êRecognition and incentives via “Ambassador of the Year” and “Ambassador of the Quarter

Duties of the Ambassador Program includes, but are not limited to:

êAttending Committee Meetings (held on the second Tuesday of each month at 12 noon at the Chamber Office)

êAttending Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings for New Members

êServing in various capacities at Monthly Membership Luncheons

êAssisting at other Chamber events as availability allows
